Privacy Policy
This policy explains how MeloLoop accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Android application.
Effective date: June 20, 2026
1. Who we are
MeloLoop is provided by Nova Wave Digital
(“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy applies to the MeloLoop Android
application, package name com.vancedmusic.musicinmyhand.
2. Information stored on your device
MeloLoop stores application information locally so its music features can work. Depending on the features you use, this may include:
- App settings, language, country selection, and playback preferences.
- Playlists, favorites, playback history, and search history.
- Downloaded audio, cached artwork, metadata, and lyrics.
- Plugin configuration, plugin storage, and download status.
This local information remains on your device unless you export it, share it, restore it from a backup, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app.
3. Device permissions and files
MeloLoop may request access to:
- Audio and media files: to find and play music stored on your Android device.
- Selected files or images: to import playlists, restore backups, receive shared content, or display selected artwork.
- Notifications and foreground services: to display playback controls and continue audio playback in the background.
- Internet and network status: to retrieve music information, artwork, streams, lyrics, plugin content, and advertising.
Permissions can be reviewed or withdrawn through Android system settings. Some features may stop working when a required permission is denied.
4. Network requests and plugins
The app may connect to third-party music, metadata, artwork, lyrics, and content services when you search, stream, import, or use plugins. Those services may receive technical information normally included in an internet request, such as your IP address, request details, device type, and time of access.
Plugins may communicate with services operated by their respective providers. Their data practices are governed by those providers’ policies. Only install plugins and repositories you trust.
5. Advertising
MeloLoop uses AppLovin MAX to display app-open, interstitial, native, and banner advertisements. Meta Audience Network may serve ads through AppLovin MAX mediation.
Advertising providers may automatically collect or receive information such as:
- Advertising identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID when available.
- IP address and approximate location inferred from the IP address.
- Device model, operating-system version, language, and app version.
- Ad impressions, clicks, interactions, diagnostics, and performance data.
- Consent, privacy, and advertising-preference signals.
Providers may use this information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, limit repeated ads, create reports, and personalize advertising where permitted by law and your device choices.
6. How information is shared
Information may be shared:
- With AppLovin, Meta, and advertising or measurement partners.
- With content and plugin services when you request their features.
- When you deliberately export, share, or back up content.
- When required to comply with applicable law or protect users and services.
We do not directly sell personal information. Advertising providers may process information for interest-based advertising as described in their own privacy policies and subject to applicable law.
7. Data retention and deletion
Locally stored app data is retained until you delete it through the app, clear MeloLoop’s storage in Android settings, delete downloaded files, or uninstall the app. Third-party providers retain information according to their own retention policies and legal obligations.
MeloLoop does not currently provide user accounts. Therefore, there is no server-side MeloLoop account to delete.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical measures intended to protect information. However, no device, application, storage system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children’s privacy
MeloLoop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.
10. Your choices
- Manage app permissions through Android settings.
- Reset or delete your Android Advertising ID through device settings.
- Limit ad personalization using Android and advertising-provider controls.
- Clear search history, playback data, downloads, caches, or all app storage.
- Stop all future app data processing by uninstalling MeloLoop.
11. International processing
Third-party providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their privacy policies describe the legal safeguards they use for international transfers.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, its providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
