Kiwi Browser · by Nova Browser

Last updated: June 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Nova Browser (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Kiwi Browser mobile application (the “App”, package name com.novabrowser.kiwiweb). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Kiwi Browser is designed to keep most of your data on your device. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or other directly identifying information to use the App. However, certain information is collected automatically, primarily by our advertising partners, to display ads and keep the App running.

1.1 Information collected automatically

This information is collected through the third-party SDKs described in Section 4. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it to build personal profiles ourselves.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The following information is created and stored locally on your device only. It is not transmitted to us or to our servers (we do not operate servers that receive your browsing data), and it remains under your control:

You can clear this data at any time from within the App (e.g. closing tabs, deleting favorites/history/web archives, or clearing browsing data in Settings) or by clearing the App’s storage in your device settings.

3. How We Use Information

4. Advertising & Third-Party SDKs

Kiwi Browser displays ads to support free development. We use AppLovin MAX as our advertising mediation platform, which may serve ads through Meta Audience Network (Facebook). These partners may collect and process the information listed in Section 1 to deliver relevant ads and measure their performance.

PartnerPurposePrivacy Policy

Meta Audience Network Ad serving (mediated through AppLovin) facebook.com/about/privacy
Google Play Services Advertising ID, core platform services policies.google.com/privacy

Ads in Incognito: we do not display ads while you are using an Incognito tab.

Opting out of personalized ads: you can limit ad personalization at any time on your device via Settings → Google → Ads, where you may reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization. Where required by law, we (or our ad partners’ consent tools) will request your consent before collecting data for personalized advertising.

5. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

6. Device Permissions

The App may request the following permissions. Each is used only for the stated purpose, and many are requested only when needed:

PermissionWhy it is used
Internet / Network stateRequired to load web pages and serve ads.
CameraOnly when a website you visit requests camera access (e.g. video calls, QR scanning).
MicrophoneOnly when a website requests microphone access (e.g. voice/video).
StorageTo save downloaded files and offline web archives to your device.
Advertising ID (AD_ID)Used by the advertising SDKs to serve and measure ads.

Camera and microphone are never accessed by the App itself — only when a web page you load requests them, and your device will ask for your consent.

7. Incognito Mode

When you browse in an Incognito tab, the App does not save that tab’s browsing history, and no ads are shown in that context. Note that Incognito mode does not make you anonymous to the websites you visit, your internet service provider, or your network administrator.

8. Third-Party Websites

Kiwi Browser is a tool for accessing the web. The websites and search engines you visit (including Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, and Ecosia) are operated by third parties and have their own privacy policies and data practices. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their policies.

9. Data Retention

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. Because most of your data stays on your device, its security also depends on your device’s own protections (screen lock, encryption, OS updates). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children’s Privacy

Kiwi Browser is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

12. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

You can exercise most of these rights directly on your device by clearing app data and resetting/deleting your Advertising ID. For requests directed to us, or requests to our ad partners, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.

13. International Data Transfers

Our advertising partners may process information on servers located in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, such transfers are carried out under appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data protection laws.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be communicated within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
