Welcome to MangaBat, a manga reader and downloader application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the MangaBat app on your Android device.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. MangaBat does not require account registration, does not collect your name, email, or personal identifiers directly, and stores your reading preferences and downloaded content entirely on your own device.

- Account credentials of any kind
- Location data
- Contacts or call logs
- Camera or microphone data
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
The following data may be collected automatically by third-party advertising SDKs integrated into the app (see Section 3):

2.3 On-Device Data (Not Transmitted)
The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never sent to our servers:
- Reading history and progress
- Library (favourited manga)
- App preferences (theme, language, reading direction)
- Downloaded manga chapters
📢 3. Advertising & Third-Party SDKs
MangaBat is a free app supported by advertising. We use the following third-party advertising networks. Each has its own privacy policy and data practices that are independent of ours.
3.1 AppLovin MAX
AppLovin MAX is our primary mediation platform. It may display banner ads, interstitial ads, rewarded ads, and app open ads within the app.

3.2 Meta Audience Network (Facebook Ads)
Meta Audience Network serves ads through AppLovin's mediation layer.

3.3 Ad Types Shown
- Banner ads – displayed persistently at the bottom of browse, library, and history screens
- Interstitial ads – full-screen ads shown when opening or completing a chapter
- App Open ads – shown when returning to the app from the background
- MREC ads (300×250) – displayed on the manga detail page
⬇️ 4. Downloaded Content
MangaBat allows you to download manga chapters for offline reading. All downloaded files are stored in your device's private app storage directory and are accessible only to the MangaBat app. We do not upload, transmit, or back up downloaded content to any server.
Downloaded content is removed when you uninstall the app or manually delete it from within the app. We are not responsible for the copyright status of content you choose to download — please ensure you have the right to download any content you access through the app.
👶 5. Children's Privacy
MangaBat is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through our app, please contact us and we will take prompt action to delete it.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise their children's use of the app, as manga content may include material suitable only for older audiences.

Since MangaBat does not operate servers or user accounts, we do not retain any personal data ourselves. Data held by third-party advertising SDKs is governed by their respective retention policies. On-device data (reading history, preferences, downloads) is retained until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
⚖️ 7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access – request information about data collected about you by third-party SDKs
- Deletion – request deletion of your data from third-party ad networks
- Opt-out – opt out of personalised advertising at any time via device settings
- Portability – export on-device data (reading history) by using the app's built-in backup feature
To opt out of personalised ads on Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (Android 12+) or Opt out of Ads Personalisation (earlier versions).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
